  1. Hi, I have used a TCP/IP ethernet connection PLC -> LORAWAN.

    I have managed to send / receive a buffer between  two plcs, not to far one to the other in the open field. Had some signal issues which I decided to put a timed relay to reboot lora on both sides.

    PLC as a TCP server has to be in the same subnet with lora as a TCP client and when acces make sure you acces from PLC to acces the remote port of Lora.

    Hope you manage to have connection but don't expect to much trafic. My case 100 bytes buffer and sometimes lost some of them.

    After I have contacted Ebyte with the signal loose problems they come up with other firmware version.

    How did you uninstall it manually? by Deleting the files in the Program files?

    1) Try uninstalling UniLogic from the Control Panel (Add remove programs)

    2) Download the attached file, and extract the exe inside it to C:\

    3) Run the command prompt as Administrator

    4) Navigate to your C:\ in the command prompt (using CD\ )

    5) Execute the following command in the command prompt: msizap T {83C5EAE0-FB24-4ACD-848A-9286B0DC30C1}

    (You may want to copy paste it from this thread to the command prompt)

    6) Install UniLogic

    7) Reboot the PC

    MsiZap.zip 54.64 kB · 78 downloads

    Thank you Saragani, worked for me.

    Mario, that link you gave is not for Unilogic, it's for Visilogic.  So the question might relate to where you got the Unilogic file from?  Looking at your screenshot, it appears that you got it from here, which should be ok:

    https://unitronicsplc.com/Download/SoftwareVersions/UniLogic/UniLogicSetup_1_32_Build_61.exe

    Have you done a complete system scan before running the file, in case there's something lurking on your system?

    cheers, Aus

    Hello Aus, Yes I had a complete scan after the antivirus notification without a virus see it by antivirus even if I am trying to scan just the downloaded file not seeing a virus. The file was downloaded from the unitronicsplc.com the original website

  4. Hello all,

    I was looking to install unilogic ver. 1.32.61 for my job use just downloaded from the https://www.unitronicsplc.com/software-visilogic-for-programmable-controllers/

    While the installation was running it was stoped by my free avast antivirus saying that threat blocked , We've  blocked UniLogic.dat because  it was infected with IDPGeneric.

    Has any of you facing this blocked till now?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    I've given some though to this to solve one of my own application issues.  I think what you are wrestling with is that you don't want your automation network to be merged with the network that gives you internet access (eg office or home network - the "non-automation" network).

    I've reviewed the interchange between Aus and John in the post ref above.

    Whilst I haven't yet implemented a solution this way I would suggest using the router functionality of the UCR-ST-B5.  Don't put in a SIM card and just use the ethernet WAN port to connect to your cabled internet connection.  The WAN IP of the UCR will belong to the office LAN that has internet access.  Connect the PLC to the LAN port of the UCR.  The LAN IP of the UCR will be in the same subnet as the UniStream and the IO devices.  You will probably only need to set up the WAN and LAN IP address in the router.  I suspect the default port forwarding will allow the PLC to talk out to the internet and find the UniCloud server.  But you should check this.

    I hope this helps,

    Simon

    Hi Simon

    I was looking to connect two plc's with different subnet xxx.xxx.113.xxx with xxx.xxx.32.xxx on port forward method with UCR-ST-B5 but doesn't work.

    Have you got a manual with configuration scenario for UCR-ST-B5?

    Thank you!

    mario, what model plcs were they?  This post would likely be of use somewhere else on the forum.  "Remote Access" refers to a program available, not exactly what you have done.

    cheers, Aus

    The plc's we want to connect are USC-B5-R38 and a USP-156-B10.

    We create a scanner/adapter node. USC-B5-R38 is the scanner and USP-156-B10 is the adapter. On the data cable they talk each other but when we move to the lora units they don't.
