G'day,
I was wondering if it was possible to reset the keypad back to a display automatically.
If someone say accidently presses a variable numeric button and brings up the keypad but doesnt hit enter I would like to have the keypad screen reset back to the last display automaitcally after a set time.
Is this possible?

I just realised what it is I had done.
1. What is the length (C value)?
I had an MI selected not a #.
Thanks.

G'day,
I have a problem where I cant get a 'Bit to Num' vector to work. I set up the MB's and the MI destination but I get zero in the destination MI. The OPLC is a V570.

How do you link a bit to a curve in a trend. ???

G'day all,
I would like to know a couple of things. Firstly I have set up a Trend graph on an HMI screen on a V570 OPLC. I have set up four different curves and the trendand it all seems to be working good. What I would like to know is where does the data for the trend get stored on the OPLC. Also how do you clear the old data.
Thanks.

You should have no problem running a 4-20 mA signal 300 meters- the voltage drop will be very small and you can ignore it. The problem may by in the other PLC you are connecting to. If the 4-20 input on that PLC is isolated, it will work. Unitronics connects the negative of the analog inputs to the power supply negative (non-isolated), so if your other PLC is non-isolated the signal will end there. You will probably need a loop isolator between the two.

You were saying that unitronics dont have an isolated analog input. The specs on the v200-18-e3xb snap in i/o say that it has 4 isolated analog inputs, is this ok?

I have an Vision 570 OPLC, an Allen Bradely micrologix PLC and 1 pressure transducer 4-20mA. Can I wire this transducer to the anlaog input of both plc's and how?

I need to run a signal from a pressure transducer ( 4-20mA ) over a 300m distance before it gets to the analog input on the OPLC. Is this distance too long?
At the moment the transducer supplys an input for a different PLC which is located near the transducer. Can I parallel off this input and run the signal to my V570-57-T20B 300m away ?
If its a matter of using the right size cable then what size would suite ?
Reseting the keypad?

Its OK I worked it out myself. Utilities/ HMI/ Refresh HMI Display.
