in the plc the input is pnp ... how can i change to npn?

i tryed all the speeds. i just manual rotate the encoder and anything

i configure the plc and works ok with a 500 p/r encoder. when i connect a 1000 p/r doesn.t read anything. i can see only "0" why ? i configured as x 2 and X 4 and the same. the encoder is an incremental encoder from omrom(E6B2-CWZ6C) 1000 P/R
