  1. Hello Emil, I was getting a reading greater than 512 which is why I said my values were high but I figured it out; I had the jumper set to current instead of voltage =( My apologies. Thank you for your help.
  2. Hello, I recently acquired a sensor that sends a 0-5V analog signal. I figured I could just scale back the standard 0-1023 input range and use 0-512 but my linear output is still very high. My questions are: Can a 0-5V analog sensor be used on a 0-10V analog input? If so, How do you scale the input value in Visilogic? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jared
  3. Hello, I have been using 1and1 with my PLCs and it has been working great. The price is also very affordable.
  4. Hi TM: Here's how you can get the display as a background image: -Open Remote Access (click the eye glasses and select Remote Access from the menu). -Locate the display you want to make an image and press Alt+Print Screen. -Paste the display in a paint program. -Resize the image to your PLCs resolution. (for a V350 this is 320 x 240). -Save image as a 256-color bmp. -Create a new HMI display and add an image. -fit the image to the size of the display. -select the image file you created. The display now has a background image with no functionality that you may place a pop-up window over top of. Hopefully this helps. Jared
  5. I am very satisfied with how the Unitronics controllers cut down on panel wiring by interfacing the PLC and the HMI. I am looking for a similar solution to reduce the amount of time spent wiring inputs and outputs. I have found solutions for other systems that use front adapters to plug into the I/O modules and run pre-assembled cable to the terminal boards. If a product exist for the Unitronics controllers that could accomplish this I would very much like to know about it.
