  1. Hi everyone!

I have an urgent issue to solve 🫤

In one of my working project a new issue has appeared with the following error message:

    I/O bus error [Code 0]

    image.jpeg.11487367e0eba9a295415593321974d6.jpeg

After a reboot the PLC working fine for about 10-15 minutes and the error appears again. Let me show the PLC I/O configuration :

    image.thumb.jpeg.ba2a6284cdc6d27f586a798fe6011f30.jpeg

I have just replaced the UAG-XKP300 (beetween the PLC and first row IOs) with a brand new one. Started the machine and it works fine...for about 15-20 minutes. The same error appears!

I've checked the IOs and all of it blinks red slowly, except one of its! UID-0808THS (number #18 IO modul, after the second UAG-XKP300) blinks red rapidly.

Now I try to change the second UAG with a new one.

But before error appears again, does anybody have any idea what to do? Try to change CPU ? What does error 0 mean?

Thank you! Unfortunately it is really important and should solve quickly

    🤞

    Best regard,

    Balazs

  2. Hi,

I have an issue when I try to download to PLC - only if I try it remotely!? I mean, if I connect my laptop directly to the PLC and I try to download via its own IP address everything goes well! If I try to download from another network, i.e: 4G network or from my home it causes issues the following warning: (01.jpg). As you can see at the 02.jpg picture the connection is fine (port forwards are created properly in the router - 22, 3335, 5900, 8001). Interesting thing that VNC viewer is working properly without any issues.

Have you ever encountered such an error? Do you have any idea to solve it?

    Thanks!

  3. Hi!

In my current project I need a little help from you guys! In one part of the project I need to control 216 outputs at the same time with a bit high frequency. ( Now, it's a working machine with Mitsubishi PLC, I have to replace it with unistream for other reason. By the way, the mitsubishi PLC has normal (no pwm) transistor outputs and a basic CPU model.)

The requested frequency is 200Hz 20-45% DC. Now, I can reach 70-80Hz besides 5-6ms of PLC cycle time. In VisiLogic there is an opportunity called Write Output Immediately. Is it exists in UniLogic?

Or it would be another option to reach 2ms wide impulses on outputs at lower frequency

It is not acceptable to use UID-0808THS (200 PWM outputs non sense). Any idea?

    My PLC-s:

    USP-156-B10

    UID-W1616Ts and lots of UID-0016Ts

    Hey @balazs.tarro-HUN

Last week I had the same issue with the trends and another one sending mails. I contact the support to have some informations about it. Figured out that they didn't knew why I the sending mail status was always remaining to 0. But then they suggested me to force the update of the PLC. You can force an update going to unistream management in Unilogic and by clicking on remote update. I'm not 100% sure that it will resolve your problem, but it resolved both of mine.

I've just done forced update. Did not solve the trends problem

@@balazs.tarro-HUN I resolved it by forcing an update of the PLC firmware. I also had some problem to send mails.

After the update everything got back on track.

    Louis.

    Hi Louis,

I'm using UniLogic V 1.29.111 and I have the latest firmware. How do you mean to forcing an update? Need to start the procedure again? I'm just doing some logic to send emails. What are the issues?

Do you have an SD Card inserted? Each Data Sampler has a global data struct. You can look at the status integer of the data sampler if there is an error.

(Enlosed a trend printscreen without inserted SD card)

Sorry for my late! I was on a new project launch and I didn't have any freetime either energy to reply 🙂

Yes, I've inserted SD card. This is the first step after unboxing (it is necessary to update firmware what is my step 2)

By the way I've just noticed a strange thing: is that normal if Sample Interval value equel to 0 in spite of that I set it to 10 seconds at the data sampler preferences?

You can check it in this print screen:  (You can also see the live values of the analog inputs)

There's a reason we ask for the project file.  It's difficult to troubleshoot a more complex object like a Trend without it.  This thread has been going since Monday, and I'm sure you're frustrated.

Post your Data Sampler information for the Trend.

    Joe T.

I'm also attach the project file!

  7. I've tried severel values without any differences.

    °C units = Thermocouple with current transmitter 0-1000 °C 4-20mA

Pa units = Differencial pressure transmitter 0-1500Pa 4-20mA

Yes, the values are linked to analog inputs with live values. It is a working system and I still don't understand why it happens 🙂 despite of I've done severel unistream projects with trends, data tables, email and so on.

    I am confused now :D

  8. Hi,

first of all please let me know the difference between V1.29.111 and 103. (Version Changes and Bug reports haven't updated yet)!

    ---

I am waiting for a solution in UAC idle timeout. It ignores if I navigate PLC through VNC connection and log me out despite clicks on the HMI severel times. Is it possible to reset Idle Timeout timer in every HMI changes?

    ---

I noticed that I can't change the Message Box icons. After download it turns back to default green info symbol. Any solution for this in the new update?

    Best regards,

    Balazs Tarro

  9. Hey everyone,
I have a little issue how UniStream managing passwords. If somebody is typing his/her own password on the PLC I can see all the letters via VNC connection. I mean I can see what buttons were pressed. Also the same in opposite situation.

Our projects are monitorized by several user at the same time and it is not comfortable when a user sees admin passwords.

Half-Solution: Using PC's keyboard --> only works with PC. People rather use mouse clicking

    Any solution for this?

    Best regards,

    Balázs

    Hi balazs.tarro-HUN,
The UAC "Idle Timeout" job is to determine the amount of time that a user may remain inactive before being logged out by the system. When a user is logged in and thier is a touch event it resets.

    Just to understand,

meninges that when you are logged in the HMI touch event does not reset your "Idle Timeout" timer?

I forgot to mention the PLC is used via VNC at the most of time. Touch event in VNC does not reset the timer.

  11. Hi,
In my project I have to do ladder logic to logout users.  At this moment if a user is logged in UAC is ignoring the user's HMI changes, value changes or other operations and it logout in idle timeout. I'd like to reset the timeout timer if some operation in progress. UAC also can logout automatically during an operation or loading other HMIs. Do you have any advice to solve this?

I've tried to set and reset Event update bit in every HMI changes (via HMI is active bit) with no results. Unfortunately Logout action is only able in HMI editor.

    Thanks!
