Hi. Is anybody aware of any unstability regarding the Alarmlist? The access to the list (alarms in group) suddenly gets inaccessible. This seems to appears when there is som minor changes in the program (ladder or HMI, not the actual alarmlist). After this malfunction, the alarmlist is not displayed uppon request. The MIn showing active alarms, alarms for Ack and alarms for Rst is accumulating. The historian alarmlist is also ok In order to get the alarmlist working, i have to erase and rebuild the list, often several times to get it working again. Not at all. Perhaps our friend Mr. T point is correct. I'm only using Eth port in conjunction with Modbus IP. For downloading i always use EIA 232 port. Regardless you have to use the EIA port for the first time. br gorm

I assume you ping the dewice from cmd promt, hence i think the problem is how the project init is configured. Is the TCP/IP Project Setting from the Project tab corresponding to the IP setting altered from "tapping" the OPLC? If this is correct, my advice is to reconfigure com setting to serial (use the MJ10-22-CS25 cabel), and put your own PLC name in the ladder under power up. Then reconfig back to TCP setting under Communication % OS and start downloading let me know gorm

Hi Geert. I'm not quite sure i understand the complete problem, but you need to check out the Communication & OS under the Connection tab in VisiLogic. If i understand you correct, it should be set to TCP/IP call. When you are in this tab (altered the connection type), try to Get OPLC information. If the PLC responds, i think you are ready to download. Regarding the PLC name, this has to be set in the ladder by Set PLC name under Com tab at power up. best regards gorm

Hi. First of all. Congratulations to our friends in Unitr* regarding new forum. Each time i start on a new project, i have a tendency to use my own "universal" starting- page on the display (V570). The starting page is containing a array of buttons with selective feedback from elements in the project, and one portion containing status for com and so on. At startup of the new project, i need to erase "old" text in the description column for operands. Q: Is there a allround procedure to erase this text versus selected operands? best regards gorm
