CANbus Sniffer

Hello again,

 

I'm working through setting up a very simple CANbus (canopen) network with a single node.  I've worked with modbus but this is my first attempt at working with CAN.  When trying to use the can sniffer, I followed the directions in the help file but I get no results in the data table.  

 

Are there more steps I need to complete after those listed in the help file to actually see results in the sniffer data table?  I watched the indexed data table video on YouTube and it mentions creating a struct to define the write rows function block.  I'm about to try this but I was thinking since the help file for the sniffer describes picking the sniffer struct type, maybe creating another struct to write rows didn't apply.
