drfraile Posted February 2, 2016 Report Share Posted February 2, 2016 I'm an electronics student at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. I'm working with a V570 to attempt to implement stepper motor control. After trying to get the V200-18-E6B HSO to accomplish this and running into some difficulties running it forward and backward while monitoring its position I found that these kinds of functions appear much easier to accomplish with a PTO output. However, it does not appear that the V570 supports PTO. From what I've read I could utilize the EXF-RC15 to manage PTO. My question is this: will I be able to run my main program on the V570 and have it coordinate with the EXF-RC15 to accomplish PTO? If so, is this the most reasonable way to accomplish this or am I overlooking a more obvious solution?
