George Z Posted March 14, 2012 Report Share Posted March 14, 2012 Got a black screen this morning on my 570 PLC - listed COM1 and COM2 and their configuration along with a third line saying "Expansion Pack Error". Restarted the unit but I don't seen to have any inputs. Is there anything further I can do to debug this or do I just have to replace the I/O module? As first step check the expansion cable connection and its grounding. On which side is the ground wire of this cable - PLC or expansion adapter? Wow it's connected?
