Why is PLC constructor defined internal? I need to subclass it

It is done this way because a PLC object is an object that already has an active connection and that already established a conversation with the PLC.

What do you need from the PLC object?

(Why to you need to subclass it)?

Maybe there is an easier solution for what you are trying to do.

Maybe the thing that you want to implement can be added as a feature to the communication driver (if it's usefull).
