how to connect encoder to v350-35-T2.

sir i have connected encoder to 350-35-T2. but connecting address MI1 is not showing an value while on-line mode of plc.I am sending my plc program please solve out my problem.I am doing it first time please help me.

A couple of questions:

1.- Is M2 reading the movement of the encoder?

2.- If M2 is reading the movement, then your problem can be the sampling rate for reading the frequency. You need to generate enough pulses in 100 ms to start reading the frequency. How many pulses/rev is your encoder? How rpm are you going to have in your system? Try 1000 ms sampling rate.
