Comments in ladder rungs

I've been working with the ladder in UniLogic, and have been finding that the comments are ending up in different font sizes, etc., but I can’t see a way to reset them. I have been copying across to Word, to try and spellcheck them and make sure I can read the comments properly, the pasting them back in and sometimes they end up in different font sizes (maybe also fonts? but harder to tell that).

 

Also, I’d like to make the comment that it was nice in VisiLogic that you could expand the comment part of the rung so that it showed the whole of the comment and it’d be nice if you could either do that manually in UniLogic or have it automatically expand the comments to show the whole of them if they are longer ones. Scrolling longer comments to read them is extremely fiddly and can make the comments hard to read.

Regarding text editing in Unilogic - In the ladder screen you can select the "Edit" menu from the ribbon. You have all the Microsoft Office tools like font sizes and colors, padding etc.

 

Regarding expandable comments in Unilogic - Thanks for the suggestion. We will review it. In the meantime, you can divide your code into regions. At the beginning of every region there is a fixed space for comments of several lines of text.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I found the larger comment at the top, and have divided my code into sections, but I find myself wanting to comment what's going every few rungs at least, as I often go off to do completely different things and come back to find some parts unclear (I hope it's also useful to others if they need to pick my code up and understand it).

 

I like that the ladder rungs expand in size to allow the parts within to be seen, and it'd be nice if the comments could do the same. It's kind of frustrating when I scroll down the ladder logic using the mouse scroll wheel - if the comments above the ladder rungs go beyond the one (and a half) line limit, then they scroll to the bottom line of the comment as the ladder rung scrolls past the mouse pointer, so you end up seeing the bottom of the comment rather than the top.
