SMS Phone Book Link to MB

Hi all,

I'm using a V350 with the TRA22 expansion and an Enfora Modem.

I was looking to set up the SMS send function so that a user can select the phone numbers to which the message is sent? I was hoping there was a way to link the phone book indexes to an array of MB's that the user can toggle on and off to send the message to a relevant number. I've had a look in the help but cant find anything hoping someone can tell me if this is possible and if so point me in the right direction?

Hi Innov,

There is no direct way to link the phone numbers to MB.

You can use the indirect phone number for this application. The indirect phone number is linked to a vector of MIs.

You can build a Data table which will be the phone book. Then each time you want to send the SMS to specific numbers, you will read the relevant number from the table and then send the SMS.

I've already setup the system using Indirect addressing.

I'm not familiar with data tables but will look into them.
