burinkaax Posted April 23, 2016 Report Posted April 23, 2016 Hello i would like to ask if it is possible to play short video after boot and before my program will start. I was told by company which was making software for my unistream, that it was choppy. Duration of video is 12 seconds size 22,1MB resolution 840x480 format .mp4 frame rate is 29,9fps. thank U all
Alexander Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 It is possible if you have a video on the start up page. You can then load to a secondary page afterwards. Playback quality may be dependent upon the software used to generate the video. What size UniStream are you using? The resolution may be slightly larger than the HMI can provide which can cause distortions when it needs to be re-sized. I would recommend having the video resolution match the element size on the HMI to see if this improves performance.
burinkaax Posted May 4, 2016 Author Report Posted May 4, 2016 Hi im using 7" inch UniStream that is why i ordered video in 840x480 resolution because in tech spec it is resolution of unistream. I will ask them for correction and let U know. Thnaks
Alexander Posted May 4, 2016 Report Posted May 4, 2016 The resolution for the UniStream 7 is 800x480. Though if the video element is drawn smaller than the full size of the screen this could also cause scaling issues.
