Pawks666
Hello, I have JAZZ JZ20-T40 controller with two groups of transistor outputs, each with its own power supply (o0-o11 and o12-o19). Now my question is, can i power one group of outputs with 24VDC and the other with 12VDC? Or is 12VDC not an option for output power supply with this JAZZ at all? Thank you, Best regards, Pawks
Kikis
Hello, 12VDC can't be used to feed the outputs on this PLC model (JZ20-T40). The nominal voltage for both output groups is given by specifications to be 24VDC (20.4 - 28.8VDC). If you want to control 12VDC loads with this PLC, you have to do it indirectly by using relays. cantcliff
According to the documentation: http://www.unitronics.com/docs/technical-library/jz20-t40-jz20-j-t40_2.pdf?sfvrsn=0 You need 20.4 to 28.8 volts for the digital outputs to function.
