Dennis Ritch
I have an issue where I am trying to use the Visilogic to program to 10 remote PLCs. The PC is using Com 1 port. I am using a 232 to 485 converter out of the port. I have all of the Unitronics PLCs set to addresses 64 to 74. I can use Citect and KepServer and other Modbus drivers to talk to the PLCs NO PROBLEM. These seem to work fine. I cannot however get the Unitronics software that is installed on the same PC to communicate to any of these PLCs. Any ideas. Unitronics says it will work. Thanks DLR
Damian
What piece of hardware are you using? Does the communication work of if you hook via 232 directly to one of the Uni's
Anthony
Dennis, I am using a M90-19-R4 RS-232 to RS-485 converter. I have Com 2 on my plc set to baud rate 19200 and RS-485. I have set the jumpers to terminated RS-485. The network ID is 64. You can see the settings all here. If you converter has an option for half duplex try enabling it.
