OZGUR
How can I use the data from 2 different plc's on the v700 by making a connection and do I need to use any additional module to display this data on the screen?
DanT
Hi Are the other 2 PLC's Unitronics PLC's ? If they are connected by RS 485, the use Modbus to collect the data Each PLC must have a Unique Address 1 2 3 etc. If they are connected by Ethernet, use Modbus TCP Check Help - Examples, Projects - Communications for example programs on how to do this. If they are not Unitronics PLC's, do they support Modbus Protocol? If they are connected by RS 485, the use Modbus to collect the data. Each PLC must have a Unique Address 1 2 3 etc. If they are connected by Ethernet, use Modbus TCP Once the connections are made, you get the data from the PLC's and store the data in the V700 ( MI's) and then display the data on the screen.
