Yeow Posted January 22 Report Share Posted January 22 Hi all, I am new to this plc unidownloader. When i tried to connect my laptop to my plc, it shows communication could not establish message. I follow the instruction by using same port as the device manager and baud rate but the message still showing when i tried to connect. I am using RS485 to USB port. MVP 2023 Joe Tauser Posted January 22 MVP 2023 Report Share Posted January 22 Usually people use an RS232 to USB converter for serial connection. The port on the PLC is set to RS232 by default. RS485 requires a different connection and jumpers to be set in the PLC. Are you sure the PLC is set up for RS485? Joe T. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
