jblkiller
I would like to know with the M91 if can I use a potentiometer plug into the analogue input (0-10V) to setup the time of a timer? Thanks

I would use the PLC's power supply as a source and determine the resistor needed to put the "top" of the potentiometer to 10V and connect the wiper to the analog input. Then read the Help on special function 200 to get the value into the timer's preset. Joe T.
jblkiller
When implementing a timer throught the HMI and assign a timer operand to the variable . Can I block the maximum seconde for the operator can't go over?
MVP 2021 Joe Tauser Posted June 20, 2012 MVP 2021 Report Share Posted June 20, 2012 U90 variables do not have a min/max like Visilogic variables do. You'll have to write some logic to read the timer preset and overwrite it with your max value if it's too big.. Joe T.
