maitufte Posted April 29, 2013 Report Share Posted April 29, 2013 Hi, I’m trying to use Remote Operator to control my Vision 1210 PLC. The problem is that the remote system is about 5 seconds slow compared to the PLC. I am using an USB now, tried to use an Ethernet cable too, but couldn’t establish connection. Saragani Posted April 29, 2013 Report Share Posted April 29, 2013 I'm assuming it is a USB to Serial connection, am I right? I should be faster on Ethernet (Make sure that you enter the correct PLC name). The speed on Remote Operator, when accessing an Enhanced Color PLC is depended on the amount of variables on the screen. (More variables = more things to read and more things that can change). The message "Cannot communicate with the PLC with the specified UnitID!" pops up when im trying to get a UDP connection. Im not sure if im supposed to use UDP or TCP for this kind of communication?
