Uni-Software Installation in Windows 8

Could anyone post a list of instructions to install unitronics software in windows 8 OS.?

Hello Sir,

 

Windows 8 is still quite new and we didn’t finish all our tests to give official statement. Currently official is only what is stated in System requirements for specific software.

Anyway if you wish to try again, please log as administrator and follow the instructions below:

 

Example to install Re-VisiLogic:

• Backup your project files.
• Uninstall Unitronics VisiLogic
• Erase the “Unitronics VisiLogic”  folder  from- C:\Program Files
• Erase the “Unitronics VisiLogic”  folder  from- C:\Program Files\Common Files
• Turn OFF the Windows UAC
• Restart your PC
• Check for windows updates

Save the setup file on your desktop and make sure that the installation file is not blocked (Right click on the file>Properties)

If yes, just click on the unblock button

 

Go to the properties of VisiLogic shortcut and under compatibility ticked verify the Privilege Level “Run this program as an administrator”.
