cantcliff Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 Are there any issues with calling PID configuration from something other than SB2 on startup to change the configuration without restarting the PLC? The desired end state is a v350 controlling two electronic regulators with different set points throughout the day.
Alexander Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 You can dynamically change the values within the PID loop. The Configuration is to identify which operands are used for each purpose. The setpoint, and any P,I, or D values can be modified as needed while the system is running.
