stojakovicv
I have idea to to use V350 (or V430) with analog output card IO-AI4-AO2 to controll position of dc servo drive. Analog card will send +-10V to dc servo drive and make a movement. Feedback is absolute SSI encoder which is connected to V350 (or V430) over Turck Gateway Ethernet (or CAN) module. Is it possible to use this kind of loop to controll the position of servo motor? Should I build acceleration/deceleration routine, or I can use some integrated utility? MVP 2022 Joe Tauser Posted January 25, 2016 MVP 2022 Report Share Posted January 25, 2016 Unitronics I/O can not do -10V. You'll need a signal conditioner to convert the output from 0 to + 10V to +/- 10V. Can you connect the position feedback directly to the servo controller and then talk to the servo using the Protocol block? Joe T.
