OK, its me again

with the realization that my system is slower than I wanted, I need to work out how to do a FIFO or shift register.

My plan is to get the read from the scanner and then depending on that set a bit either low for good read or high for bad read.

I would then use a change in status bit to move that bit across in a register somewhere

Im thinking that I will only have about 4 bits of usage prior to reaching my blow off device,

 

There is a sensor which I would use to decrement the bits down, so if a high bit was at the right place and the right time then the blow off would operate.

 

Im looking for suggestions on how to do this quickly and easily!

Look under the "Vector" menu when editing your ladder. There are a number of useful tools there that should solve your problem.
