EC motors vs VSDs short article

Hi all,

 

although this article is from EBM pushing their own barrow, it is worthwhile reading for those who may not know too much about EC motors. Section 3 gets to the bits you want to know about all the innate gains that will be made. They are much simpler to implement, cheaper to run and well worth considering if they are available for your installation, be it fans or whatever.  All of mine are fan installations and have only had routine checking with ears, eyes and thermal camera, with no other work needed in the years they have all been in.
