Edelkin77
I have a vision 230 with a V200-18-E3XB snap in module. I have changed the jumpers on the analog I/O for RTD operation. I have set up the analog inputs in hardware configuration to PT100 alpha .0385 and set in degrees C mode and have wired the RTD's to the channels. There are only two wires on the RTD's so I have jumpered the positive terminal to CM on all of them. I set up a numeric display box for each and they read 5440 or so and decrease when i warm them. This seems like it is displaying a resistance instead of temperature. What am i missing? I also have a type K thermocouple on the fourth input and it is reading as expected. MVP 2022 Joe Tauser Posted March 4, 2011 MVP 2022 Report Share Posted March 4, 2011 Try hooking one side of the RTD to the CM terminal and the other side to both the PT terminals jumpered together. According to the drawing, the PT terminals compensate for lead resistance. Joe T.
