I successfully prepare the PLC-side modem but when I Start the Call from the PLC it constantly gives me Modem Timeout. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also you need to check that the IP address and port you are trying to access are available - you can use a PC which is in the internet and try to access this IP and port via telnet. I forwarded a port and successfully accessed it via telnet, but it still gives me the same error when i try to call from the PLC. Do you have any other suggestions?
