rooster Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Have a project that requires printing of batch reports etc, using a standard network printer, I'm assuming using a PCL driver. No doubt I should use FB protocol TCP/IP, but as far as the PCL codes etc. go I'm a bit lost. Is there possibly a example project available I can use? Appreciate any help that can be provided... Thanks guys
Mark s Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 I am searching for almost the same information. I only need to print reports to a dedicated printer at the OPLC. I haven't located any information about that, any input would be appreciated. Thank you
Pista Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 Try to look at the example UnilLogic Example\ Communications\ Ethernet Printer via PCL5 Ahoj.
Mark s Posted December 8, 2017 Report Posted December 8, 2017 Thank you Pista That looks like what I was after
brollySSJ Posted May 21, 2018 Report Posted May 21, 2018 To send a PCL file to an HP printer when the version of the PCL in the file matches the capabilities of the printer you need to send the file as raw data. RAWPRN. In earlier versions of Windows, you could use Microsoft RAWPRN.EXE utility to send PostScript or PCL directly to a printer capable of interpreting lenovo support for more details and support check out my website
