Interact
I have a Jazz as a MODBUS slave. Is there a way to detect whether the MODBUS master is communicating with the jazz from within the Jazz?
MVP 2022 Joe Tauser Posted March 12, 2018 MVP 2022 Report Share Posted March 12, 2018 I've not tried it, but if you have a working system try setting a coil with SB 66 (MODBUS function is busy). If that doesn't work you may also want to look at SB 60. Let us know. Joe T.
Interact
Both SB 60 and SB 66 do not respond to modbus being read... I do however notice that SB 67 does seem to respond. I am unable to find documentation that tells me what that address does. Does anybody know where I could find that documentation?
MVP 2022 Joe Tauser Posted March 20, 2018 MVP 2022 Report Share Posted March 20, 2018 If a System Bit doesn't have a descriptor on it or listed in the Help then it is one of the Mysteries of Unitronics. We honestly don't know what a lot of them do. Send an email to support@unitronics.com with your request and let us field commandos know what you find. Joe T.
