neurocyber
I have a V700 as the scada panel. It runs on a drum and poles the slave for integers (Modbus IP) . This is working well with a cable. The question is can I use 2 wifi routers to connect the two plcs No pc, No internet needed. Thanks Greg
MVP 2022 Flex727 Posted October 3, 2018 MVP 2022 Report Share Posted October 3, 2018 Yes, you should be able to do that with the proper setup of the routers. If the routers can communicate, then the PLCs should be able to also.
viscoelastic
I also believe it will work. One router will have to be able to be changed from router to bridge mode. I would also use static ip’s on everything.
