ControlsNerd
Hello, I have a 10.4" UniStream (USP-104-M10) with a CPU mounted (USC-P-B10). I attempted to update the firmware, and now all it shows is a red screen saying "The Update has failed !!!". No amount of rebooting the HMI/PLC or laptop will recover it. I even tried the USB rescue procedure, but it will not budge from the red update failed screen... Can anyone help? Thanks, Dave

JoelN
I just experienced this same exact issue and there was no success in getting the screen to go to home. As soon as the PLC is turned on, it tries to read the data on the SD card and then comes back with the error message. I even tried this method without luck : https://support.unitronics.com/index.php?/selfhelp/view-article/unistream-recovery-to-factory-settings-procedure
MVP 2022 Joe Tauser Posted March 24 MVP 2022 Report Share Posted March 24 A firmware update on a UniStream is typically done with a USB drive, not the SD card. The USB drive should be at least 8 GB but not more than 32 GB, as it needs to be formatted FAT32. Have you tried updating the firmware? Joe T.
