Unfortunately, Visions don't really work as email devices anymore as 99% of the mail servers out there now use SSL. When Visions were first introduced SSL didn't even exist. This topic has come up several times and the answer to the question of whether it will be implemented on the Vision series is "No". Apparently it's a huge undertaking to add the code needed to the Vision O/S and there's really not room for it.
