sandreou
I have a unistream 15" US-156-B10 and i managed to have both usb ports damaged when i was having a usb to serial converter to a printer. Now that i need to upgrade the panel to the new firmware i am not able to use the usb ports . What are my options? I tried the SD card but it cannot find the files to proceed with the update
MVP 2022 kratmel Posted July 30, 2022 MVP 2022 Report Share Posted July 30, 2022 Please contact support@unitronics.com with quastion about upgrade via SD. I do not recommend to repair PLC but qualified electronic engineer can check USB ports power chip MIC2026-1 (output pin 5 and 8 ) and two components on main board. I found one Unistream PLC with this elements damaged , replace it and succesfully repair both USB ports.
sandreou
Thank you for your reply. I will have that in mind in case i need the USB ports. For reference i managed to upgrade the unistream by connecting it to the pc via micro usb cable. And then with remote update and selecting external SD card.
