DannyC Posted April 30, 2015 Report Share Posted April 30, 2015 Hi, I am looking for something to send simple messages between a robot and a computer server. The robot has a DeviceNet master, and the server only takes Ethernet TCP messages, so the PLC will need to be able to function as a DeviceNet slave and Ethernet TCP. Is there anything suitable for this? I haven't seen anything that suggests Unitronics products support DeviceNet, happy to be proven wrong though. Many thanks in advance! jweav2223 Posted May 10, 2015 Report Share Posted May 10, 2015 Most likely referring to Ethernet/IP and mixed it up. I think UniStream can do Ethernet/IP now, but if more familiar with the Vision line look in to a Protocol Gateway to go between the three devices (Controller, Robot, Server).
