sunit
A Samba 70 has a USB programming port and one optional port for Ethernet or RS232/485. I want to install a ethernet port but at the same time i want to use the USB programming port for MODBUS RTU to communicate with a remote IO by using a USB to RS485 converter, Is this posible? AlexUT
Hi sunit, No, it is not possible. USB port is a Device port, not Host port. It does not support any types of converters.
MVP 2022 Joe Tauser Posted November 19, 2015 MVP 2022 Report Share Posted November 19, 2015 Samba Wall. Like the Jazz, the Samba should be thought of as a smart relay with a screen. Joe T.
