Hello.

I would like your help connecting my 12 analog inputs to my snap in V200-18-E6B module, EX-D16A3-RO8 module and IO-AI8 module.

PLC:V1210

1st analog signal:
danfoss fc51 inverter
analog signal 4-20mA. It is self-powered, no external power supply required.

2nd analog signal:
danfoss pressure transmitter 4-20mA
it requires external power supply 24VDC

I have turned all jumpers to current mode.

V200 questions:
1) Does the v200 module require power supply to activate the analog inputs or the power supply is required only for the analog outputs?
2) 1st signal connection to AN0, +mA to AN0 and -mA to ACM, correct?
3) 2nd signal connection to AN0, +mA of the transmitter to AN0 and 0V of the external power supply to ACM, correct?

EX-D16A3-RO8 questions
1) 1st signal connection to AI0, +mA to AI0 and -mA to 0V, correct?
2) 2nd signal connection to AI0, +mA of the transmitter to 24V from the external power supply and -mA of the transmitter to AI0, correct?

IO-AI8 questions
1) 1st signal connection to AI0, +mA to AI0 and -mA to COM, correct?
2) 2nd signal connection to AI0, +mA from the transmitter to AI0 and 0V from the external power supply to COM, correct?

Thank you in advance

Carefully observe all the wiring diagrams in the manual for the snap-in.  Power must be to all points noted for it to work.  It's a bit of a trap for the uninitiated...very easy to miss.

I'm not making sense of your other questions...same inputs being referenced???

Thank you Ausman for your reply.

The other questions are just examples of connecting two different kinds of signal (one from a self powered device and one from a device that reqiures external power supply), 4-20mA in both cases, to the analog inputs of the 3 different modules that i have.
