JozefSVK
Hi all Is it possible to connect current type and voltage sensor types together ? I need connect feedback from valve to my plc analog input. Can I connect black cable (4) to CM2 (23) and brown (1) to my Analog input 0 (21). On Analog input 1 I have voltage type sensor. Will it work or I should use both current type sensors ? Thank for you answers.
MVP 2023 Joe Tauser Posted February 20, 2021 MVP 2023 Report Share Posted February 20, 2021 I'm guessing you're using a -TA30, not a -T30. I don't have one of these in front of me to test, but if it's like other Unitronics analog inputs the common is not isolated and it's expecting a sourcing signal. Your SMC is a sinking analog output, which means it's expecting to get it's power from somewhere else. You'll need a loop isolator to connect this to the PLC. Joe T.
