Can EX-RC1 have IO-LC1 or IO-LC3 attached and to be programmed to act as a single and stand-alone bulk-weighing scale controller?

I have 8 scales site-distributed along factory which do not need local display, just local control; but to be monitored from control room. My idea is to have one main OPLC to monitor and distribuited control.

You may consider using drum sequencer for such application, even you have fixed times between states (Which makes it easier) or programmable times

[USB to Serial converters - need more stability]

I had similarissue in the past, not only communicating with Unitronics devices but othercontrollers as well using so many different usb-to-serial converters.

Finally I got a good driver which works very stable for me, using Win 7 andWin98. It is version 1.1.0, for PL2303

I´ve wired series circuit two devices (PLC and local display) to a single transmitter up to 100 m without trouble. Parallel has not worked for me: it´s not repetitive and not linear at whole range.

Some ideas you can try:

- Check entire system for mechanical oscillations or obstructions which causeyour issue.

- Have you tried loadcell filter & round FB?

- Keep in mind your loadcell accuracy according with its class, so you do not getmuch more counts than loadcell can give, even module is capable to do.

- Is your scale a platform, an automatic weighing device or manual one? Basedon it, you can set proper values for filters and tracking values

- Use raw or uV representation to figure out how large your oscillations are.

A fewdays ago I got same error. Support people helped and sent me fixed file backto my e-mail.

I goterror after adding and global variables to my project using Visilogic 9.3.0.

Alsofound a very useful way to get my file back without errors: Uploading projectfrom PLC and saving it as new file.

[Updating Documentation, forcing I/O]

A couple of suggestions:

1. It would be useful to have a way to update documentation library files instead of download entire content

2. A way to force I/Os keeping the state one choose, not only set/reset them.

[Protocol Scan Function]

So, just using protocol scan FB, It's not possible to get numeric data with different lengths even there's control char or any other characters as a separation between values ?

I have a similar issue, 5 values to get, all numeric, all with different lengths, so, there's so many combinations.

Decimal ASCII no fixed length confuses me.

[V280 OS Download error]

I just updated Visilogic Software and before download an application update, it asked me to do it.

Latest OS on dropdown list is V5.04(B19), B18 is previous one and yes, I could get back to B18.

After download B19 OS, software warned something like "reset PLC" (Do not remember exact message), so PLC reinit and happened what I mentioned before.

What exactly happens after you download the new OS?

Was 5.04 (B18) the previous OS?

Can you go back to that OS?

Hello, after updating OS to Vision OS - 5.04 (B19) and system fonts V1.30 (B00), PLC did not come up, display flash quickly and do not run application. After several attemps powering it off and on, holding i key, pressing touch and many other combinations, i could get it on boot mode, so download Vision OS - 5.04 (B18). I tried 3 times OS - 5.04 (B19) and happened same. Any idea ?
