MVP 2023 Joe Tauser Posted September 2, 2012 MVP 2023 Report Share Posted September 2, 2012 Yes. If you haven't already, look at Help->Sample U90 Projects->Examples->MODBUS for example programs to configure the COM port as a master or slave. Joe T. nikita1
thanks Joe, i'm new on PLC's and i want to communicate with PC (the PC will be the master) what kind of Modbus (ASCII/RTU) does M91-2-T38 use?
Emil
All our controllers use Modbus RTU on their serial ports. In addition, almost all Vision models (except V120) support Modbus IP, if optional Ethernet card was installed.

Emil
First of all - disable Flow control. Check if the controller is set to ID1. The standard example is set ot ID2. Please check again the communication cable. I hope these tips will help.
