Can't install VisiLogic on Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit

Recommended Posts

Hi There,

I get an error message when I try and install the latest VisiLogic software v9.7 on my laptop, which is running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit.  UAC is already disabled.

The error message pop-up is:

"VisiLogicSetp_9_7_Build_00.exe is not a valid Win32 application."

I've tried to run as Admin and to install at C:\ without success.

Anyone else encounter this issue and/or knows how to resolve it?

Cheers,

Gavin

Gavin,

It could be that the installation.exe file became corrupted during the download. Please remove this file and re-download the VisiLogic 9.7 installation file from our downloads page.

If you continue to experience issues please send an email to support@unitronics.com

Hi ,

I get an error message when I try to open VisiLogic software v9.5.0 on my laptop, which is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  UAC is already disabled.

The error message pop-up is:

"14Invalid Tools collections index"

and after open a file .vlp other error:

"Run-time error '70':

Permission denied "

This last error causes close the program.

I've tried to run without success.

Anyone else encounter this issue and/or knows how to resolve it?

Nildo

Hello Nildo,

Try to solve the problem as follow:

Open the task manager and close VisiLogic.

Delete the file Current_OPLC.udb from: C:\Program Files\Unitronics\Unitronics VisiLogic_C\Data\DB

.

Disable Windows UAC and run VisiLogic

If the problem still occur:

Backup you projects and delete all the files related to Unitronics installations.

• Erase the “Unitronics VisiLogic_C” folder from- C:\Program Files\Unitronics

• Erase the “Unitronics” folder from- C:\Program Files\Common Files.

• Perform Windows update and restart the PC

• Log-on as administrator

• Save the setup file on your desktop and make sure that the installation file is not blocked (Right click on the file>Properties) If yes, just click on the unblock button:

Install VisiLogic.

If software opened properly, Go to the properties of VisiLogic shortcut and under compatibility ticked verify the Privilege Level “Run this program as an administrator”.

I hope it helps…
