Posted December 31, 2015 Report Share Posted December 31, 2015 Hi, i have a V570 that i put a program on and it was working good until i recycled power to it and now the PLC is in stop mode with no application. i cant connect to it anymore. is there anyway to reconnect to the PLC?? Alexander Posted December 31, 2015 Report Share Posted December 31, 2015 Hello Nick, Is the battery backup installed in the V570? If the unit is powered down and the battery is low, or not installed than it is possible to lose the program and display no application. You will need to re-download the program. We recommend performing the Download All and Burn download option. This will download the program into the flash memory of the controller which will retain the program in case the battery backup fails when power is cycled. Posted December 31, 2015 Author Report Share Posted December 31, 2015 when i first downloaded the program i downloaded all and burn to flash then i made some changes to the program and just downloaded it to the plc. Ofir Posted January 2, 2016 Report Share Posted January 2, 2016 Hi, Usually when the PLC is in stop mode the default baud rate is 115200. Try to set in VisiLogic communication & OS menu the baud rate to 115200 and then try to download application. if you are still unable to connect - let me know what error message do you get? Ofir Posted January 3, 2016 Report Share Posted January 3, 2016 Hi What is the error message you receive in VisiLogic? (message box) did you try changing the baud rate in VisiLogic to 115200? Are you using USB to Serial or built in com port? you can try also communicating with the V570 using port 2 of the PLC. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
