STRING TO NUM CONVERSION NOT RESPONDING

HI, trying to convert an ascii based string of numbers into an integer form using the STRING TO NUM block but im not getting any integer at the output tag. what really should i pay attention to when using this STRING to NUM block

cool at AlexUT, 

attached below is the small test file , im using this small snippet to collect data from an arduino via a usb to ttl cable utilizing the USB port on the unistream us10b5ta30,

communication wise i do not have any problem, 

the challenge now come when i want to convert my string tag with the received arduino data to an integer format which i will then want to display on a live trend graphical setup

Hello, can you tell me what software and what version do you use to have that function block from string to number, I'm using visilogic 9.8.95, but I can't find that block

This is the UniLogic forum for UniStream controllers.

In Visilogic, you want to use the "ASCII to Num" block under the Strings menu.

Post your program if you need more detailed help.
