I am coming up short on (12) expansion modules ( IO-DI8-R08) or (IO-DI8-T08) and I am having a hard time locating some within my needed time frame. My dealer is saying 4-6 weeks from Unitronics. It might actually work out cheaper for you, as the EX variant is an adapter. These I/Os aren't known a lot, but can be found here under I/O expansion modules / XL Digital/Analog: https://www.unitronicsplc.com/io-expansion-modules/ cheers, Aus and a later edit, In saying this, I was thinking that you might have been having a few of the 8s, so that 1 x 16 would = 2 x 8. The EX-D16A3-RO8 is still a bit more than a EX-A2X + IO-DI8-RO8, but might be more readily available.
