Jhav
Hello, I was wondering if there is a simple way of using one timer for multiple inputs. I have multiple valves and each one has a open input and a closed input . I’m allowing a couple seconds between status change of open and close if it does not reach the right position the valve will alarm. Is there a simple way of using one timer for all inputs instead of giving each individual input a timer?
MVP 2021 Joe Tauser Posted April 24 MVP 2021 Report Share Posted April 24 It is tedious, but the generally accepted way is to assign one timer per valve. If you don't use multiple timers you won't know which one failed. Joe T.

This is another way - try to configure standard Alarms with configured delay. You do not specify PLC model but 16 to 128 Alarms can be configured with different delay.
