jack hoffa
As you can see I am a Mechanical only and I am trying to modify a 2 servo drive program (on V 350-35-tr20) I have got the output 0 to come on with a screen button, but I can't get it to energize at power-on for 5 sec only. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jack Hoffa jack.darlene.hoffa@roadrunner.com
MVP 2022 Joe Tauser Posted November 11, 2013 MVP 2022 Report Share Posted November 11, 2013 If output 0 will never come on after power-up, you can put it on a NC timer contact connected to the power rail. Put a 5 second timer of the same number in the network after it. Joe T.
MVP 2022 Flex727 Posted November 12, 2013 MVP 2022 Report Share Posted November 12, 2013 Wouldn't it be more straightforward to trigger a 5 sec Extended Pulse Timer (TE) with SB2 and then use that timer's contact to trigger Output 0? mckruger
I also need to know how to do this. As when a vehicle i have when the power take off (PTO) comes on the engine revs a little higher than it should. i would like to switch on the idle output on just for 1 pulse so it can bring the engine back down to idle immediately. Alexander
mckruger, you can accomplish this by having the PTO bit set an MB when it is turned on using a positive transition. The MB that is set can power a TE timer. The TE timers bit will be active while running allowing you to have it run for a defined pulse length. While running you can use this timers bit to power your output.
