gerard339
Hi, I am using a current simulator to input a 4-20mA signal to AI0 of a IO-A14-AO2. The raw data is doing the opposite of what I am expecting. As I increase the current, the raw data decreases, and visa-versa: the value of MI 0 goes down as mA input signal goes up. I tried reersing the signals but it does not work either - do you have any idea what may be happening here? I tried it with both current and voltage signals. MVP 2023 Flex727 Posted December 14, 2019 MVP 2023 Report Share Posted December 14, 2019 Did you try actually measuring the current with multimeter?
TozoM8
AI0 looks like voltage input. AI1-3 is current if I read it correctly. https://myzone-kza3sadj.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/IO-A14-AO2-5408-0061-2.pdf
sgull
AI0 to AI3 can be wired as voltage or current inputs. For current connect the 4-20ma to "I" and the 0v to "COM" Make sure that the 0v of the transmitter is common to the 0v of the input module power supply
