V280 and running RTC

I'm using V280, it is stand alone machine no any network connected.

I would like to use the real time clock that always running even power off, could you please kindly advise how to set it up

RTC is embedded to this PLC. You can find time and date in PLC Info mode.

If you have project for V280 - you can add RTC to display.

If you do not have a project and it is not burned to PLC (upload project is not possible) - you must program new project for add RTC on screen.

You can also utilize RTC in ladder by using SI 30 - SI 38. There is also plenty of information in the Help file.

Actually, on a V280 you can upload the program.  It's a standard controller that doesn't have upload and burn.  If you lose the battery you lose the program.

Thank I have put the RTC in the screen but the time is not running

How exactly did you do this?  Can you attach your program?

Go online with the controller and look at SI 30 .. SI 38.  Is SI 30 (Current second) incrementing?
