MVP 2023 Flex727 Posted February 8, 2023 MVP 2023 Report Share Posted February 8, 2023 I've worked with dozens of V1210s over the years and had no problems, but recently I've gotten at least two V1210s that have touchscreens that require much more touch force than normal. One of them is quite excessive and in fact I thought the touch screen was inoperative as first. Is there something that can be adjusted for touch sensitivity on these PLCs? MVP 2023 kratmel Posted February 8, 2023 MVP 2023 Report Share Posted February 8, 2023 I noticed that in some PLCs, the fastening bolts are tightened so tightly that the body is deformed and, as a result, there is a problem with the touch screen. However, I think that the main issue of sensitivity is the distance between the sensor itself and the main sticker film (this is not about the removable film that comes with the new screen as protection against damage during transportation).
MVP 2023 Ausman Posted February 9, 2023 MVP 2023 Report Share Posted February 9, 2023 Flex, some younger fingers, instead of flattened out old clunky ones, might solve the issue!! 🙂
