VNC connection will be protected by password. *"Solution Explorer->Password Management->VNV". Define here VNC access password, Download project to PLC. Then for VNC connection you have to use password. Is this level of security OK for you? Remote View: There is no analog of Remote access or Remote Operator for Unistream. What other, then VNC, remote operations do you need? Please tell more details. B.R.

    Hi, What is a U90Ladder version? What is your Windows OS and version? You have to install driver first, then connect Jazz to PC by USB cable. In Device Manager this driver should be listed as "STMicroelectronics Virtual COM Port (COMx). When Driver Update dialog pop-ups - cancel update. Where x (port number) should be between 1 to 16. You have to select this port number in U90Ladder PC Communication Port Settings. BR.

    Hi Garry, Use Utils->HMI->Draw Line. It will draw you a line between 2 points. You have to scale you date to display area and transform it to pairs of display coordinates. Then draw line between two pionts. Draw Line use direct draw to PLC memory, so it will interfere with any display elements. BR.

    Hi, Raymond: Each supported modem have different set of AT commands, especially extended commands. If your modem is not in supported modems list - you can realize everything by use of FB Protocol. Unitronics sale 2 Modem Kits. These kits are widely used and supports SMS and GPRS.     Hello, Unitronics software is Desctop OS oriented.     Hi, Do "Help->Check for Updates->Operating System". After downloading an updated OS, update it at JZ20 and repeat test.

    This embedded image cannot be opened. imageshack site is blocked in our company. Did you tested COM port 2? Do it sequentially 3-5 times. Change Timeout and Retries. If you continue to face this problem - send support request to support@unitronics.com

    Hi, What are PLC system files versions (from Info mode)? What VisiLogic version did you used? Power-off PLC, keep I button pressed and power-on. PLC will start in OS Stop mode. Check communication. Enter Info mode, enter System, scroll to select Erase. This will erase mostly all. After erasing, PLC stay in Bootstrap mode. You have to use COM 1 of PLC to communicate and download OS, and then application. I hope this helps. BR.

    Hi, You can use MODBUS. After establishing connection via GPRS, or dial, do MODBUS Configuration and enable ScanEX for Slave, or MODBUS Configuration and Read/Write for Master. I hope this helps. BR.

    Hi, What are models of OPLCs you use? How many and what data you wish to send/receive? How many PLCs will be in network? Keep in mind that communication speed is limited to 9600 bps. BR.

    Hi, You can protect by password Reset and Acknowledge operations. Anybody can push external button and reset/acknowledge alarm. The meaning of such design is to bring REAL operator attention, and sometime keep a record who did reset/acknowledge of alarm. This is a requirement of standards for specific industries. BR.
