  1. Hi guys--I just wanted to point out that The PLC Simulator is an application that was developed by a 3rd party, not by Unitronics. In such cases, questions /requests should be made to the developer.
  2. Wow--this is a great application! Would you consider collaborating on an application story for publication here? http://www.unitronic...-stories-videos
  3. Looks great! Would you consider collaborating on an application story for publication here? http://www.unitronics.com/plc-hmi/application-stories-videos
  4. John--this is a great project! I don't know how I missed it at the time. Would you like to participate in putting together an Application Story?
  5. I've got some great news to share with you! Unitronics is proud to announce that UniStream has been nominated in Control Engineering's Engineer's Choice awards, in the category of Hardware: Integrated HMI Controllers. The Engineers' Choice Awards includes 29 categories of control, instrumentation, and automation products, revealing the best as chosen by Control Engineering's print and digital audience. If you would like to cast your vote, go to: http://ocreg.controleng.com/onecount/flexreg/displayform.cgi?g=0&form=369 We will be running another UniLogic training webinar, this time on the subject of Timers and Actions. This free webinar will be held on November 13th. Click below to register: https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/269067086 On another note, Unitronics Support is setting up training schedules for the US, 2014. We have a proposed list of cities and would like to offer you the opportunity to let us know where you would like to see training held: http://survey.constantcontact.com/survey/a07e8gefzt7hnhg154m/a013lhnva2ir8/questions Finally, I'd like to invite you to join us on our Facebook page--it's a great way to keep updated with current Unitronics news http://www.facebook.com/UnitronicsUSA Have a good week--may all your programs be perfect :-)
  6. Considering that I got to work at 5:30 this morning, and have had only one cup of coffee YES!!!!!
  7. UniStream memory capacity is: Operand memory: 1MB Retained memory: 256K. Note that the Data Table is made up of STRUCTS (which are operands) and therefore they share the above specified memory space. Note that the size of the allocated memory space for operands in UniStream is by far much larger than the one offered by the Vision; Thus, any project that fit Vision will easily fit UniStream. Also, local operands used in UDFBs don't count. If you think you have a project that might exceed the memory capacity, please contact Support in the planning stages.
  8. I am really curious to see what people post here! I wanted to mention that in Unitronics UDFBs, we decided to create a class of 'Z-Operands', where the 'Z-' signifies operands that are integral to the internal working of UDFB, and should not be touched. I'd like to recommend that others do the same--makes it easier to share UDFBs. GENERAL DISCLAIMER: This page contains files and links to items developed by third parties. 9. That's good to hear--we always appreciate it when people post that they have suucessfully resolved a problem
  10. Guys, there is lots of stuff on the way--this is a new platform. That said--please do ask. Requests from our users has an impact on the priority we assign many tasks. Just be aware that some features look as though they can be accomplished with little effort, while others look complicated...but are not.
  11. Guys, I have one PC at home that runs Vista--don't get me started Tim is exactly right regarding VisiLogic. We believe that Vision and VisiLogic are great products that fit many requirements for many applications with a good price/performance ratio. The products will still have features added according to market requests, but they are fairly mature. Flex, I hear you--basically, your request amounts to a re-engineering of VisiLogic so that you'd have the fast programming, tag addressing, UDFBs, etc, correct? I'll put in your request, but...well, this is a enormous task; so I dunno...
  12. Hi :-) OK...I just tried this on two setups here...and have no problem entering the Euro sign...no down initiates..could you give some more details?
  13. >If you post your code I can hack an example into it with comments, circles and arrows, and a paragraph on the back.< That might provoke a typical case of blind justice...especially if put on 27 color glossy photographs.
  14. Joe T, I saw this while I was editing something in the VisiLogic Help file, so I added your explanation of SB 3, and requested it be added to the SB description. Thanks--definitely makes it clearer
  15. Hey Tim :-) Very glad to see you are checking out the new system! Have you checked out the HMI training video?
  16. Joe--not clear on what happened here. Did the driver install? Did Network discovery take place? At what point did the PLC go into reboot--after a download attempt?
  17. I apologize for the time lag--but regarding development of existing products: The Vision line is here to stay. Vision offers specific advantages and cost-effectiveness. Many of our customers are OEMs. We value them, we understand their specific needs--and we certainly know just how much how important continuity of products is to an OEM. We will continue to add functionality to the Vision series. Many added features will be in response to customer’s request--but not exclusively. Since Vision is a long-standing platform, we do see it as stable and very developed, so naturally, features will be added less frequently than they will for UniStream. Regarding hardware, note that we do intend to issue additional units for the Vision line. As mentioned, this line is bound to be with us for many more years.
  18. BTW--if you haven't viewed it yet, take a look at our video on UniStream Data Tables: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ika7mIBkezg&list=PLFBq_OH6_be7snAZAycZzQMvAWjHkX9Pz&index=12
  19. Just a quick post to remind you of the UniStream and UniLogic training videos. The newest addition is Languages--invest less than 5 minutes of your viewing time, learn you how to enable your users to switch the HMI display language by touching an HMI screen element.
  20. Check out the latest video--Languages. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o-5VEYgiho&list=PLFBq_OH6_be7snAZAycZzQMvAWjHkX9Pz&index=13
  21. Flex--you are in luck. HighTech is THE HMI guru :-)
